  2. Data and Spreadsheets with AIUse AI to clean data, write and explain formulas, and turn a spreadsheet into a decision you have verified.
  3. Check the Work: DEBUG Every OutputRun the five DEBUG checks on any AI output and document what you fixed.
  4. Responsible AI: Privacy, Policy, SecurityDecide what can go into AI, rewrite unsafe inputs, spot AI-powered scams, and write your own AI use policy.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. This course is about using AI in everyday work, not programming.

Which AI tools will I use?

Free AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or Claude, plus Google Sheets or Excel. You need a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.

Will I use my real work?

Yes, with care. You will learn what is safe to put into AI tools, and you never share private information.

What is the difference between the membership and the live cohort?

The membership is self-paced: all modules, labs, and your portfolio, on your schedule, month to month. The live cohort adds 20 live sessions with an instructor, a live capstone panel, and the welcome kit, and includes full platform access.

What if I miss a live session?

You can miss up to one module and make it up with the recording and that module's lab. The certificate requires at least 27 of the 30 live hours and your capstone.

Can I get help paying?

You can pay the cohort in 2 installments. BTM is also working to become an approved training provider so eligible laid-off and displaced workers can apply for funded seats through their American Job Center.
